  1. Hi Ms. Trisha! Do you happen to also know if one can renew her lost expired drive's license or does she need to apply again for a student's permit? You see, my wallet was stolen last week, together with my expired non-professional driver's license & other IDs, and I'm doing a research before going to LTO to get a new one. Your blog has been a great source about requirements. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks! 😀

  2. Hi Alyson! I'm so sorry for your stolen wallet. I think that, for License Renewal, there is no need for Student Permit. But for expired non pro license more than 2 years, you would need to retake the LTO Written and Practical exam, in addition to the normal requirements, for license renewal. In case you fail this tests, that is when they will give you a Student Permit instead of the non pro license. Hope this helps. God bless! 🙂
